La Dona tells the story of Altagracia, a woman haunted by her past. In her youth,m she was the victim of a brutal attack by a gang of men which resulted in her conceiving an unwanted child. Having given the baby away and motivated by a ruthless ambition to avenge her abusers, Altagracia sets to create a business empire ruled only by power and greed. Her endeavours ultimately lead her to reconnect with someone she never though she\d meet again: her daughter.
